Hi,
I haven't used Windows 10 so not sure if it's the same but in earlier
Windows you'd go to the JAWS icon either on the desktop or start menu,
go into the context menu, choose "properties", control tab if
necessary until you're on the shortcut page, tab to where it says
"shortcut key", hold down the desired shortcut keys, JAWS normally
announces them, then tab to "ok" and press it.

Jaws when it does that sudden silence thing! I am using a windows 10
computer running Jaws 18 I'm sure I had a hot key to start with, control
alt
J but it seems to have vanished and I've forgotten how to set it up again.
I
looked in the help but can't find it there, obviously looking in the wrong
place.
