Hi Dorothy

The extraneous symbols are created by Outlook but, as far as I know, not by
Outlook Express. The thing here is that they are created by this programme
so it's not your Outlook Express that is making them appear. You just
receive whatever is sent.

George I have read your reply with great care. In fact I always do, I even
try when a message doesn't turn up like one of Phil.Claytons remember. You
mention you hope to find a cure for "some" of us and you mention Outlook,
but you have not mentioned Outlook Express. does this mean wee are Doomed
then or does it mean using OF.I we shouldn't getting extraneous matter
thank you

Dorothy Obviously the Stripper is no good or you would say so presumably
Ps It was Phil Medway not Phil clayton whose answer I looked for and not
finding it got suspicious and then realised a couple of days messages had
not turned up. That has not happened since. On both laptop and desktop I
count them in, however the Specific folder part on both still do not work
and Tony Berry tried hisbest So somethings are not straight forward, even
when done by a technician.?.
