Subject: [jaws-uk] Jaws Video Intercept issue

Hi all,

Jaws 8 with Windows XP Home.

Since having this new computer built, I am experiencing a Video Intercept
problem on starting Jaws.

Evidently Jaws doesn't like the PCI Express graphics card, which I think
is
an Asus one.

When I press the execute button, the computer reboots.

However, instead of going straight into Windows, it halts at a menu which
contains such items as Safe Mode, and something like Last Known
Configuration - not quite sure about this last one.

Anyway, on returning to Windows, the Video Intercept message appears
again.

I am currently not able to read any text other than HTML, so cannot edit
or
read any of my Notepad files.

This is the first experience I have had with Video Intercept.

I will presumably have to change the graphics card, unless someone can
suggest a work-around.

Is there anywhere listed the graphics cards that Jaws will not work with,
please?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Keith
