Apologies for the cross-posting but as people (including me) have raised this 
issue on both lists, I feel that its appropriate in this case. 

Please see the below solution, from Microsoft. This worked for me and I hope 
that it has good results for others. Its a bit of a pain in that you can lose 
some settings but these can be restored.

I understand that you are unable to shift tab in Internet Explorer 7.

You may reset the settings in Internet Explorer and try to shift tabs. Please 
follow the steps to reset default settings in Internet Explorer 7.

1. Open Internet Explorer 7.
2. Click on "Tools" Menu > Select "Internet Options".
3. Select "Advanced" tab and click on "Reset" button.

Now, close and reopen Internet Explorer and check the status of the issue. If 
the issue persists, please contact technical support team. Warranty support for 
Internet Explore is tied with Windows operating system. As Windows Vista was 
pre-installed on the computer, you may contact the computer manufacturer for 
assistance.

Also, you may work with Microsoft support professionals. From the information 
you have provided in your message, I understand that you are located in United

QUESTIONS OR COMMENTS
Message: I am not able to shift tab when using Internet Explorer 7. I'm using 
access technology (Jaws for Windows, version 9) and Windows Vista Home Premium. 
The software (including IE) was installed when I purchased my PC. This problem 
only occurs in IE, it doesn't happen in Firefox.
