OPen the start menu and arrow across to the right two or three tmes,
then you will get into a menu and can use up or down arrow to navigate
the choices. When you get more into VISTA you have a "power" button
just to the right of the search edit box. this baby is programmable and
you can configure that to shut down the PC as well.

This question is on behalf of a friend of mine.
She has just got a new computer and the operating system is Vista.
At present she has only a trial version of JAWS.
The 40 minutes has run out!...
Can anyone tell me how to shut down vista!...
Is it different from XP.
