Dear Dorothy and List:

I'm not certain what your dealings with Moorefield's Eye Hospital
and your local trust hospital regarding the presence or lack
thereof of your health records has to do with the use of the JAWS
screen reader, which is the topic of this list.

I and probably most other people on this list wish you the very
best of British Luck in your dealings with the various hospitals
in your life, but your very long train of messages to and fro use
up a lot of bandwidth on this list.

Rachael regarding Liz Woskett the rnib legal girl, I had to
break the news
to her in October of
----- Original Message ----- 2006 that the concilliation arm of
the DRC as
it was named then had gone into receivrship I had just dealt with
a bank
called Ing Direct and got my claim done in time liz was then in
Judd Street
not in Peterborough, she was just getting the news in,I remember
her
saying"Oh what shall we do all these claims we have in the
pipeline and my
saying just do your best with existing claiments, it was luck on
my side
getting it through and Greg wrote later to Bob Nivan on my
behalf, so it
took 2 years for the Equality and Human Rights act to be drawn up
a long
time. liz was unwell for a very long time and is a moorfields
patient
herself and is back working Part time down in Peterborough I
thought if I
gave this little snapshot Greg would like to know she has some
sight but
does not know her future so I have battled with moorfields and
she withE.On,

Dear Mrs Ingram-Gorban

Yes, Greg was shocked to learn that they had been rated weak
again. The
Quality Care Commission has pointed out that these targets relate
to April
2008, which is only two months after the Trust's new management
was
appointed, and that improvements have been made since then.

But I think it's Greg's view that this can't go on and if things
don't
improve significantly this year, there should be a change in
management.

Regards

Rachel
