Hi

How about once opening the file or the document, under the file menu, select
enable option and which I believe will allow you to edit.

Sorry about that.

They are either Text or document files, and certainly not Email files or
Music mp3 files either.

I'm trying to catalogue tracks from my CDs

For an example:
The folder name will contain the name of the artist:
Subsequent files with in the folder will contain the file names of each
album title, and when that file is opened, will give the list of tracks and
any other information within that album.

I hope that answers your question.

Adrian Rowe.

Hi. You need to be a bit more specific i.e. as you mention outlook express
are you talking about email folders? What are the file extentions of the
files you are trying to write to? What are you using to try and write to
them?
