Ian and Kevin,

I'm certainly beginning to wonder if there is an underlying issue - it might
also be something to do with my PC set up but I've checked the volume
settings and it seems OK to me. When I play the audio files individually,
they work OK in Windows Media Player - they just don't want to play in FS
Reader for some bizarre reason.

From the depths of my memory, I think there used to be problems with various
DAISY softwares clashing so I might investigate what else is installed that
might be fighting with FS Reader for control of the audio files.

I've tried calling Denis at Sight & Sound but he couldn't think of anything
specific to try.

Somewhat perplexed,

Jamie

Maybe worth contacting the Support department of the supplier who sold
Jaws to you and/or FS direct. Just a thought.

Cheers,

Kevin
