Hello everyone, I am attempting to install Jaws 18, December built on
a 64 Bit machine. In the middle of the installation process, I get the
following:
Please wait
Please wait while your system is configured for
JAWS.
Installing vcredist.
And then, the installation says the following:
Please wait
Please wait while your system is configured for
JAWS.
Installing vcredist64
Please wait
Please wait while your system is configured for
JAWS.
Installing UninstallUtilities.
Finally, the installation process interrupts with the following error message:
JAWS Setup Package Error
The JAWS setup package could not install the required
component RuntimeJAWS. The process will now exit.
I never encountered this error before. Therefore, I couldn't figure
out what is wrong.
