Dorothy, hmmmmm, sounds like your pc guy has put on professional either by
mistake or as an upgrade as he was there sorting your system out anyway.
Case being, this will be the reason why jaws is not authorising. To run jfw
on a pro platform, you need the pro authoriation from freedom scientific.
Additionally, you may need to set kurzweil to run with your scanner in it's
options. I think it's in settings.

Tony Berry took my desktop and upgrade of Jaws away to do the "rebuild" he
phoned me today and said I appear to have Windows Professional. I was
baffled as I have never had more than XP HOME for me simple needs. so is
that why the Floppy disc wouldn't work? Andrew assumed it was burnt out.
However I had never laid a finger on it. Mind you by now it may be "toast".
Why did the Engineer do this? Tony and I assume he must have put on the
information from his own disc. It means that since the last week in March I
have been using Jaws 4.51 in Demo Mode waiting for the upgrade to come to
Version 7 and the sma things. Now it will not work.Tony said with any other
software it would but not Freedoms Jaws.Why is this? Also Andrew I have the
same Toshiba you have but mine is Toshiba Satellite Pro. but the Pro does
not mean Professional but Home, Tony says yours is Professional. I am by now
so confused . I have to phone Viglen in the morning get the Engineer back to
take Professional off. Meanwhile all the stuff on the hardrive the new one
will have to come off! The other problem is that Kurzweil on laptop will
not interact with Scanner. I have not until now used the laptop for
scanning. It must be the drivers, it will work with Word Photocopy but not
my OCR. so it is not a scanner failure. Finally Tony Looked at Chris Mullins
Email to solve the problem of sent items being removed and put in Delete
folders and he said it isn't specific. If Ron Sears who had the same
problem and to whom Chris Mullins sent the same cure found cure please let
me have it.Thanks Dorothy. Ps 2 Engineers came as the new disc IBN was
noisy. It must have the first I think,he spent ages here. When a third one
comes I shall tell him sitting here for over three weeks using Jaws in Demo
Mode thing my disc floppy reg was corrupted was not nice do not leave me
with and was hardrive stop it making a row.
