Hi Joan,

You are probably meaning trying to read it with the Convenient OCR feature.
Press Insert+Spacebar followed by "O" for OCR and then "W" for window.

In any of these layered commands, you can press a Question Mark (?) to get a
list of the valid commands at that time.

Another option, if you have it, is to try using Kurzweil 1000. To do this,
from the PDF document, press Control+P to go into the printing dialogue box.
From the list of available printers, select the "KESI Virtual Printer" and
this will automatically launch Kurzweil and it will try to read the whole
document.

Hope this helps.

Jamie

Subject: [jaws-uk] Empty PDF document

Hello, Folks,

I know there's a way for Jaws to cope with a PDF document which is announced
as being blank. I think you have to use the insert +spacebar but I can't
remember what you do then.

I'm using Windows 7 and Jaws 13.

Any help would be appreciated.

Best wishes,

Joan.
