Though you are always connected to your LAN, it is not always connected to your mail server or mail gpo, and it may take a little time for your mail program to connect to it. Do you use a firewall? Also, if your server is acting up, or if it is 'down', it will not behave 100% as it ought. The main thin is that you do get connected to your mail server, and that it doesn't take too long to download at each try. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Paul Roberts" <anorack@xxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <jaws-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Sunday, November 27, 2005 5:13 PM Subject: [jaws-uk] E-mail and broadband query Hi all, After sending an E-mail and pressing insert numpad 3 I hear JAWS announcing how many E-mails I have in my inbox. Usually at that point it will then say "sending mail". Once the E-mail has reached it's destination, JAWS will say "no new mail". I have noticed recently though that it is saying "connecting..." I am puzzled by this as I am on broadband and so I amm already connected. Does anyone know why I would be getting such a message.
