Hi Tim,

I don't use Excel so don't have any experience of it's specific keystrokes.

I wonder, however, if the keystroke to open a list as used in IE might help.
This is alt+cursor down. After that, you should be able to cursor up or
down the list.

Subject: [jaws-uk] Drop-down lists in Excel fields

Hi All,

I'm using JAWS 6.10 with Excel 2000 on W2K. Recently, I've had a couple of
spreadsheets to fill in, which have a list of options you can choose from as
a way of completing some of the cells. When I move through the spreadsheet
and land on one of these fields, JAWS says "input message". Apparently,
there is a button to click next to the field, which allows you to open up
the list of options. However, I can't find a way of opening the list using
JAWS, although once someone else has clicked on the relevant button, JAWS
can read the list, and I can select an entry.

Does anyone know how or if, you can deal with these options lists in Excel
with JAWS? (I thought I'd cracked it, when I hit the Applications key, and
found an entry in the context menu, which said "pick from list", but
selecting this, didn't seem to do anything.)

Any help gratefully accepted.

Tim
