thank you so much Peter I am using at this moment my laptop which has not got Lunar on it, and I have discovered a good many ways, like they say there more ways to kill a chicken than the obvious one, just as well

Dorothy,
To find the sender's address in an email, on the list of messages place the cursor on the mail you want to examine and open its properties, you can do this by holding down the alt key and pressing enter, move across to the details tab and you will find all the headers including the sender's address, press the esc key to leave properties.

Hi, I have tried that and pc says Lunar Control Panel. I have Lunar version 6 and often key strokes meant for Jaws trigger Lunar. I am only using to invert to high contrast black not to Magnify. I tried what you said on yours for example. then I tried Alt and using the querty keyboard I then used numbers 1 2 and so on it kept saying "subject field not found or taking me into the address book for Outlook Express. I may turn Lunar off and have a try, so far only whilst forwarding have I had any success. 
However  I will keep trying

Dorothy,
A better way is to press Shift+Tab until you hear the From line and then use 
your JAWS cursor to read a character at a time if necessary.

thank you but often I find unless for example Like Graham Page and Brian lingard who trail a little business Park behind them, I manage sometimes if I am sending a forward for example to get a snatch of the Email address. Recently on this list someone said to a query to use Alt and numbers like 1 or 2 or 3 but would that be with the numberpad on or not? Thank you very

I am getting a  little confused at times about which David is which.
Is there an easy way to tell. I know the collective Noun for
Diamonds,Geese, Rooks and so on but  not for David's, looking back over
some
of my posts I see I sent a message to one thinking it was another. any 
help would be appreciated.
