Matthew, You did mention that you have Outlook 2002, and I should have said in my reply that I was giving the method for Outlook 2003 because I don't have Outlook 2002. I can't comment on Outlook 2002 beyond saying that in many areas it's very similar to 2003, and I'm hoping this is one of those areas! Will I be able to use the same keystrokes in Outlook 2002? Sorry, I should have mentioned this in my original message. Regards. Matty. -----Original Message----- From: jaws-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jaws-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Griffiths, Steve Sent: 16 November 2006 16:16 To: jaws-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [jaws-uk] Re: Creating a Group Schedule in Outlook Calendar Matty, Here's how to do it in Outlook 2003. 1. Open the Actions menu and choose View Groupt Schedules. 2. A dialogue opens with focus on the New button. Press Enter to activate it. 3. Type a name for the Schedule and press Enter to close this dialogue and open a second dialogue.=3D0D 4. Tab to the Add Others button and press it. A context menu appears with focus on an Add from Address Book item. Press Enter to activate it and you'll be in your address book. 5. Select people or distribution lists as usual. I found when I okayed out of the address book, Outlook took a second or so to return focus to the dialogue.=3D0D The writer seems to be referring to distribution lists when they say "groups", and that you can expand a list into its individual contacts by clicking on a graphic next to the name of the distribution list. Here's how you can do the same thing with JAWS. When you've closed the address book, press Shift + Tab to get to the list of people in the schedule. Focus is at the bottom of the list, on an item called "click here to add a name". Using JAWS 6.20, I found when I used UpArrow to move up the list, JAWS didn't read the entry I moved to. I had to press Insert + Tab to get the information, and thus confirm when I was on a distribution list. Sometimes even the Insert + Tab didn't work, in which case I had to use the JAWS cursor. When focus was on a list, pressing RightArrow gave me a dialogue warning that I would not be able to undo the expansion. I just okayed it and the expansion went through. When you've finished adding names to the schedule, press Alt + S to save and close it. You can add whole groups (eg Trust and Accounting Services) and then break that down into individuals once the group is in the schedule by clicking on the plus sign next to the name of the group. You'll find it breaks down into yet more sub-groups but keep going and your Group Schedule will eventually show only individuals. Regards.
