[jaws-uk] Crackling on with eloquence

Eloquence seems to have started crackling big time with my jaws 5.1: Have
recently upgraded computer though sound card and video are as before.
George suggested I check my connections and at least externally, they seem to
be tight.
Is there anything else that I can do? A nuissance rather than a disaster.
