Thanks David, that's encouraging. It would be great if it does behave as it
has the great combination of being effective and friendly enough to work
alongside other platforms. Half my trouble is that I could really do with
using a suite of programs, no single one covering every base. When each one
is a life's work to get to access grips with, however, well, it gets both
confusing and frustrating.
So thanks again :o) Much appreciated.

regarding Audacity. Just to say that the problems that Johny reported that
he was having aren't typical. I've no idea what was going wrong in his case.

have been harbouring highish hopes. Don't they call Cool Edit Audition
these days? So many platforms; I'm probably mixing them up :o)
