That is good advice Tiddy, I am however trying to remember another temporary voice in stead of Narrator, I know there is one that unlike Thunder does not need a lot of downloading, it is more powerful and American, after my laptop was cleaned off and only office and of course Windows was on Jaws 9 had to be downloaded as I did not have the CD, this was in December, a friend at a distance talking me through had as I did Line problems Bt again!! So he found a temporary voice, trouble with Narrator is, it gives a whole lot of information about each key stroke when all you want to hear are words.
