Hi,

Apologies I assumed that you meant the font colour was different because it
was changed. I think you mean the text is highlighted to indicate spelling
or grammar issues. Dave's solution should  resolve your issue.

Text analyser can be used to identify inconsistencies such as unmatched
parentheses, unintentional format changes, extra whitespace, and stray or
unspaced punctuation when editing or proofreading a document by line,
sentence, paragraph, or Say All command.

You can activate it in the JAWS settings. HTH.

Regards,
LU

Dear Dave and Lu,
Many thanks for the suggestions.
Dear Lu, I have never used the text-analyser. can you please explain a quick
fix (or procedure of using for this specific function)  to the problem while
using the text-analyser?
Many thanks.
with best regards.
can it help

Hi
Not sure about how to in skim reading mode but Jaws should tell you
either on page load up or when your curser moves onto a line that has
corrections, or both; you can tell Jaws to do this via Quick Settings
Word – Editor options, set AutoCorrect Detection to on and Spelling
Error Detection to ON
+ Count and Grammar Error Detection to ON + Count.
Also you can list the corrections via Shift + Alt + L to list
spellings and Ins + Shift + G to list grammar errors.

Regards
Dave

Subject: [jaws-uk] Colour identification with jaws skim reading tool

Hi all,
some parts of the sentences are coloured differently for correction,
but without track changes on.  Is there any method to to detect  those
parts of the sentences? I have tried with jaws skim reading tool but to no
success.
perhaps, I am not that experienced in using that. Note that I am using
Jaws 18, with MS 365 and windows10.
Thanking in advance for any helpful answer.
With best regards.
