If you go to the microsoft website, you can find it, make sure you choose the correct one for your operating system. There are a few more again at www.freedownloads.com but how screenreader friendly they are I am not sure although AVG is doable using the rout jaws to pc curser feature. Microsoft is screenreader friendly. ----- Original Message ----- From: Johny Cassidy To: jaws-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Saturday, January 09, 2010 10:13 PM Subject: [jaws-uk] Re: Clean up software I'll do the de frag thing as well. You mention anti virus scan. I think I've got loads of viruses from downloading stuff from torrent sites, so they're harder to get rid of. Any tips for a good accessible anti virus scanner? ----- Original Message ----- From: kevin To: jaws-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Saturday, January 09, 2010 9:59 PM Subject: [jaws-uk] Re: Clean up software Johnny also have you done a full anti virus scan lately? also what about a defrag? A useful defragmentation programme is smart defrag. Once installed it can run in the background automatically defragmenting or options can be chosen with in the programme eg, defrag, fast optamise or deep optamise. Go to www.freedownloads.com and look for smart defrag or type smart defrag in the search box provided. ----- Original Message ----- From: Johny Cassidy To: jaws-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Saturday, January 09, 2010 9:26 PM Subject: [jaws-uk] Re: Clean up software I've done the C Cleaner one and it was really straight forward. Don't know how successful it was though. I think the computer is running better, but that could just be wishful thinking. I'll do the other one tomorrow. Thanks. ----- Original Message ----- From: kevin To: jaws-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Saturday, January 09, 2010 8:47 PM Subject: [jaws-uk] Re: Clean up software Hi Johnny try c cleaner found at www.ccleaner.com and also super anti spyware found at www.superantispyware.com look for the free version as there is also a proffessional version.
