Hi Kevin, I have exactly the same requirement i.e. a portable means of reading talking books and text files. Ever thought of a "Victor reader stream" it fits into a pocket and can be used anywhere. I know this is OT so please contact me directly if you want any more details. Regards David----- Original Message ----- From: "Kevin Morris" <drewdog101@xxxxxxxxx>

Hi all, I'm looking into the possibility of purchasing a cheap PC mainly to stream titles from www.audible.co.uk and Daisy books from RNIB. I want something which I can carry about the flat with me (e.g. so that I can listen to titles in bed) so the idea of a netbook sprung to mind. However having no knowledge as to what extent (if any) they work with Jaws I thought that I would ask, on the list before parting with hard earned cash! Any advice gratefuly received. I already have a desktop but, as I say I want something which is highly portable for the reasons set out above. Many thanks in advance for any help.
