Hi, Getting Jaws to treat a bullet as a space certainly does work. If you place the cursor on the bullet, hold down shift and then space once this highlights the bullet which can then be copied and pasted into the Dictionary Manager. Hope it helps. Has anyone worked out a way to stop JAWS 8 from announcing "bullet" each and every time it comes across one on the net etc? I've tried making a rule with the Default Dictionary Manager by telling JAWS to treat bullets like a space, but this just doesn't work! I've also had a look around the graphics and symbols options in the config manager, but again I can't see anything that looks right for the job. Anyone any ideas? ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:jaws-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** jaws-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:jaws-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** jaws-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq -- No virus found in this incoming message.
