the.
2 in the main dialogue choose "advanced" settings button, and then
choose "Flash messages" by pressing spacebar on the button.
3 In the next dialogue you can change the duration of the flash
messages or If you tab on further a checkbox whether to have them
enabled at all.
4 When done tweaking tab to "OK" button and press spacbear and
repeat through the previous sub dialogues,

Hope this helps.

Subject: [jaws-uk] Braille prompts staying too long

Hi all:

i have just set up yet another new computer ... don't even ask why!!

using XP, JFW9, PB40.

when, for example, i go from jaws to pc cursor, the speech message is
accompanied by a Braille equivalent which remains on the display.
can't recall this happening before.
how can i stop it?

TIA

David W Wood
