Hi Phil Thanks for that. However, this flies in the face of the point of the default file, as I have always understood it. I always understood that the default file was the one which took priority, if not then the default file has absolutely no purpose! Respectfully ... Change any settings in the Outlook configuration and save them and all should be well. I have an 80 cell Powerbraille and I like to turn off the dots 7 and 8 markings for highlighting etc. I do this by going into config manager, selecting default.jcf, settings, braille options and then going into the markings dialogue, unchecking everything. Still, in Outlook anyway, the braille highlighting is still coming up. What's going on? When I look at Outlook.jcf it tells me that highlighting is checked even though I unchecked it in the default.jcf. Any light that can be brought to bear on this rather puzzling occurrence would be greatly apreciated. BTW, I am so far pleased with V6 for responsiveness and one or two niggling problems that have been sorted out since v5.1. Just off to experiment with the Daisy player. Respectfully ...
