Ok, just signed into one of my BT accounts, but I forgot, mine is BT Yahoo and that might be different as there was no upgrade button, although it is a paid for account, not the free Yahoo. The only thing it says if that is automatic page updates cause a problem with screen readers, you can turn them off. There is also a link for "all new mail", which I left well alone. But as I say, this might not be the same website, so sorry I can't help. -----Original Message----- From: Alex Stone Sent: Thursday, September 06, 2012 10:06 AM To: jaws-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [jaws-uk] Re: BT Webmail Pete, I'm with bt, but I've never tried to use webmail so can't answer any of your questions. I still have my own accounts set to classic mail, but it seems that some people are now receiving an upgrade page when they log in to their mail page, and it doesn't have the option to use classic, only an upgrade button, and if they click that option they find that they are unable to navigate the folders, and there seems no way of returning to the classic version. A friend who has this issue gave me her password and asked if I could sort it out, but I could see no way of returning to classic, I tried with JAWS and two other screen readers, and with both IE and Firefox, JAWS kept announcing that application mode was on, what is this mode, how does one turn it off, and would doing this help to read the folders? Any help greatly appreciated.
