You don't need to log in with a password. Wiki is open to all. It's only if you are going to write articles for it that they like you to be a registered user. -----Original Message----- From: jaws-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jaws-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Dorothy Ingram-Gorban Sent: 15 July 2008 17:01 To: jaws-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [jaws-uk] Re: Available memory Hi Tiddy I did look and I found virtual Printing covers Fax and PDF as well as Jpeg I didn't find anything about available memory, incidentally I was asked for a Password is that normal? I didn't give it. I once had them in my address book you know about 3 years ago, maybe they were new then I had asked them which was the Oldest computer and said I thought it was called Hector they came back to me and said they were sorry but couldn't find a computer with that name but you know they may have by now so do you give a Password? Can you make up a name or Code of some sort Regards Dorothy----- Original Message ----- From: "Tiddy Ogg" <oggy@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>To: <jaws-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, July 15, 2008 8:18 AM Subject: [jaws-uk] Re: Available memoryDorothy, having looked it up on Wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virtual_printer I can't think this is of any use to you. It's there to produce the document you can't read... And if it is as big as you say, no wonderitruns out of memory. Go take a look at that wiki page if you wish, and also look up "available memory" and anything else you want to know. Finding yourwayround Wiki is a good exercise in learning to navigate web pages. -----Original Message----- From: jaws-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx[mailto:jaws-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Dorothy Ingram-Gorban Sent: 14 July 2008 22:19 To: jaws-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [jaws-uk] Available memory Dear list, this is a tricky one I was sent a large attachment theotherday as a Jpeg another words it was photos of print, I do have the OcrthatNorman mentions but it was very hard to do as part was in handwriting,Isought help from My support in fact 2 of them one sighted told me the document was very poor to start with and part hand written but he wrote out the contents and I was able to understand it all the second hadagood try but having no sight at all and running a Network of 7 computers he did not badly of course the handwriting was a non starter So having something called a Virtual printer I decide to have a go myself and get to the Virtual printer press Control and hear a loud warning Dong, computer said "there isn't sufficient memory to complete this task.
