Hi hazel, a total re installation of jaws will not harm, it can only make
things better, if it was me I would do that any way.

  Can anyone help!

  I have just sent my computer for an update!  But now it has arrived back
the jaws programme reverts back to 40 minute mode.  The codes are entered
and stored on the computer but it just does not seem to recognise this.  I
have loaded the authorisation disc again but a message comes up saying that
something is locked!
  What should I do?  Should I remove the Jaws programme and start again?  Or
is there some simpler way to get around this problem.

  I seem to be going round in circles.  Any help would be greatly
appreciated.
