[jaws-uk] AVG query

Hi all,
Usually when I switch on my computer each day, I get a message telling me
that I am now downloading the latest AVG.
I have however noticed that this message is not now appearing and am a
little concerned as to why this might be.
I have gone into the programs subm-menu and found AVG is still there.
Can anyone shed any light as to why this is and also what if anything can I
do about it as I am concerned that I may pick up any viruses.
Talking of which, is there a way I can check to see if a virus has been
found or not. Can this be done using JAWS.
