Hi Robin.

I wasn't wondering about that, but then would be concerned about any search engine implications. I know that they frown on hiding text like that.

I'll do some digging on that one though as it seems a nice workable solution.

Cheers
Darren

Darren,

Make the text colour the same as your page background and span it. If
it's white,

<span style="color:white; background-color:white">Screen readers message
here</span>

There's a way you can do it in your CCS but can't remember it off the
top of my head just at this moment.

Hi folks.

I should know this being a website developer, but I can't remember off
the
top of my head what the answer is.

I want to create a paragraph of text on a page that is specifically for
screen reader users and not seen by anyone else.

It is basically a couple of lines instructing the blind user how to
operate
the Flash MP3 player on the page as the buttons are not labelled "Play",

"Pause", etc.

This is obviously of no use to anyone else, so making it only readable
by
the screen reader would be handy.

Any ideas what the HTML code is?

Cheers
Darren
