In theory. In practice, working out the actual voltage drop will be "a little more complicated than that". I'm not even sure what the diode is supposed to achieve: the smoothing will happen without it (using just another output cap), and adding sufficiant capacitance to have any useful effect will still break the PSU's startup to the point that either it or the Iyonix are likely not to start at all. -- Steve Fryatt - Leeds, England http://www.stevefryatt.org.uk/ --- To alter your preferences or leave the group, visit //www.freelists.org/list/iyonix-support Other info via //www.freelists.org/webpage/iyonix-support List-related queries to iyonix-support-moderators@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
