It does seem that running certain modules in the > background can prevent shutdown from working correctly. I had a conversation with JB about this problem recently - one cause is that a module leaves an interrupt enabled after a shutdown, and I had made this mistake in a couple of things I've written. One possible culprit is my "HALTimer" module, so if you're running that, try rmkilling it before shutting down. I'll release the fixed version soon. -- Rik Griffin Software Engineer, Denbridge Marine Ltd --- To alter your preferences or leave the group, visit //www.freelists.org/list/iyonix-support Other info via //www.freelists.org/webpage/iyonix-support
