Empty all the temp folders and try again. This happened to me once and
clearing the temp folders seemed to cure it. Failing that, delete the
profile.

Have seen something similar in the newsgroups 2 or 3 times without any
solution....(didn't find anything related in livesearch or google)
ISA MMC cannot be opened. Get an error like "ISA Server can't load
properties. Error 0x80004005 - unknown error". After that "MMC can't be
initialized".
ISA Version is 4.0.2165.610, Windows Server 2003 Standard SP1 german (no
R2). Occured maybe after the second last Windows Update (WSUS) (July).
No way to get ISA MMC opened on that box. Not with mmc -> add snapin.
Nothing. According to the original posters no MMC 3.0 installed.
Connecting remote via mmc works fine.
Anybody seen this?
