Hi Steve,

We do not see any error in the event log.
What service packs do you mean ? The windows service packs or the isa
service packs ?

Met vriendelijke groet,

Sebastian van Dijk

Have you tried removing the SP's and re-applying them? What errors are
you seeing in the event logs?

S

After installing Windows 2003 Service Pack 1 on our ISA 2000 server we
have some serious RPC problem.
RPC connections slow down or just fail.

Now as i've seen some mails passing i've done the following :

- installed all latest windows updates
- installed kb article 887222 "The ISA Server RPC filter blocks RPC
traffic after Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1 is installed on a
computer that is running ISA Server 2004 or ISA Server 2000"
- installed kb article 316356 "SecureNAT and firewall clients are
disconnected from the network"
- installed kb article 897716 "RPC data may be blocked, and Outlook may
not start in Windows Server 2003 with SP1"

The version of ISA is : 3.0.1200.365 SP2

However none of these items fixed the RPC problem.

Are there any other options i can try ?

Met vriendelijke groet,

Sebastian van Dijk
