I thought it was a browser issue myself.
I had wins installed, dns .. everything I could think of to try to get it to
show computers.
I was a bunch of small stuff that makes for a big problem.
Now to see if my printer and burner will be supported in this release.

I hope so.

Mark S

BTW, can I export my users and groups from 2000 and import them to 2003 ?

Hey Mark,

My bad. Usually when people saying they can't "see" a computer on the
network, they're referring to problems with the bowser service. I didn't
realize this was a DNS name resolution problem.

Thanks!

Ok, found the root of all evil.
It was DNS suffix problems I'm embarrassed to say.

Now on to the next battles.

Thanks,

Hi Mark,

The bowser service is the work of the devil and it belongs at the bottom
of the sea with the Theatines (cf

:-)

However, check out:

Ok , so there are NO suggestions out there ?
I cannot see my clients from the server nor can I see the server from
the clients. ISA runs fine thru the server, I can ping the server. I do
have some name resolutions issues though.

Any help out here ?
