I understand, and the ID's are different, the WAN is working.

The primary issue is that these IP Phones have to have a specific gateway to
function properly. The gateway must 172.16.10.150 in this instance, which works
fine on the 172.16.10.x network, but won't work on the 172.17.1.x network. I
guess I need a way to "bridge" my two networks, or get them on the same subnet
somehow.

It's a matter of poor design on the phone manufacturer's side. The phone boots
up and identifies the gateway as it's phone switch. If I set the gateway of the
WAN phone to 172.16.1.1, it wont update the phone switch...

I have also tried adding both ip's (172.16.10.150, 172.17.1.1) as gateways for
the phone, in both orders, and it got a little farther but failed...

THANKS!
