can you ping across the VPN to anything on your internal network?
One thing that I got hung up on was that I use my laptop from work to go
home and connect over the VPN, and as it turns out my Firewall client
was causing me a lot of grief. make sure it is enabled once your VPN is
established.

Hi Jay;
but the problem is that the client is not able to use DNS server for
name resolution and also is not able to use internet explorer for
internet access through the vpn, eventhough IE is set up as web proxy
client with the ISA server internal interface IP address.

Hi everyone;
whenever my vpn client connects to our LAN, he gets a local IP and the
correct DNS IP, but the subnet mask is 255.255.255.255 !! and the
default
gateway given is the same as the IP address assigned to the client. I
even
created dhcp relay agent in the RRAS and created an interface which is
the
internal interface of the ISA server. but the same thing happens again.
Could anyone help me with this set up which would give me the right
netmask and right dhcp options?
thanks,
Farshad
