Hi Chris,

Check out #19. Since you want outbound relay for your remote users, you
need to create a secure link, and require authentication.

Subject: [isalist] smpt relaying

http://www.ISAserver.org

May or may not be on topic. I have ISA setup on a machine and am
wanting
to do spam filtering on the same machine. I had everything working
fine,
expect I could not send outgoing mail through the mail server from
outside
the firewall. My mail server is published through ISA but had the
settings correct for the filtering. Everything would work, but not the
outgoing mail from outside. I assume that it has something to do with
relay settings, but I have tried about everything that I can, but can't
get this setting correct. If I try to send the e-mail through it hangs
in
the smpt server and says that it can't locate the remote server. Any
help
would be appreciated. Thanks
