Thank you for all your feedback! This is for a home user who has business in his home... He purchased SBS and would like to use the ISA features, however, he also want to separate the business from his family Internet use... I know double NAT is a pain and so is using VPN with it... I would recommend not doing that and having his family using the ISA as well. It would be much less painful... Are there any Wireless bridges that can pass the legal IP to the ISA and still give an outside IP using the DHCP provided by the cable company? Thanks, Tom -----Original Message----- From: John Tolmachoff (Lists) [mailto:johnlist@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Thursday, September 04, 2003 3:57 PM To: [ISAserver.org Discussion List] Subject: [isalist] RE: simple question http://www.ISAserver.org > In a business environment, the fun part begins when you start trying to > work with the ISP to port forward VPN traffic (if their hardware is > capable of it) to the external IP of the ISA so you can then get into > the network....kind of a pain, but it works. That is why I am trying to steer away from piggybacking ISA on the Linksys. Double NAT plays havoc with some things.
