Thanks for the info -- does this order of events sound about right?

-uninstall 2k3 sp1
-uninstall isa
-reinstall 2k3 sp1
-reinstall isa
-install isa service pack (in my case it's isa 2k sp2)
-install hotfix for rpc blocking issue (KB ID 887222)

So much for doing this remotely ;-)

Uninstall SP1...I had to do that a couple of times. I ended up
uninstalling ISA...putting on 2k3 SP1 and then putting ISA back on and
it's Service pack. Works great now. All my internal TS's work on their
default ports using a different port at the ISA.

I have multiple external ips on the isa, and ISA is listening across all
of the external IPS.

The ISA server's TS is bound to the internal adapter.

My configuration was working prior to my installing 2K3 SP1 on the ISA
server and on the internal servers, I'm sure of it.

You have to publish them on different ports unless you are using
multiple public IP's and listeners.

i applied the hotfix for the rdp issue, and still can't publish any
internal remote desktop servers (other than the firewall itself).

is there something else i need to do in addition to applying the ISA2K
RPC patch (http://support.microsoft.com/?id=887222)?

TIA
