More information on "moron morning". DNS resolves vms.highlandergroup.net to the Internal IP. The website host header is vms.highlandergroup.net The listener is listening for the connect name. ISA and IIS are both using the same certificate. Still it's not working. The thing that boggles me is that it was working until yesterday. What broke it was the SBS connect to the internet wizard but I can't seem to find out where. The thing that was changed was the public name of the server, from thg to mail for remote access purposes. That access work fine and listens on another IP. Only this website, which is the only website listening on this IP is broken. thanks, Amy Babinchak From: isalist-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:isalist-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Amy Babinchak Sent: Wednesday, April 02, 2008 8:38 AM To: isalist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [isalist] publishing error: web proxy reverse Something that should be simple is turning out not to be. I'm getting the dreaded 500 error but can't seem to find the solution. I get 3 log entries. 1. Failed connection attempt. This returns the 500 error. I've checked and re-check the rule and it looks correct to me. The server names resolve internally and externally correctly. The name of the website is consistent from end to end. Forward original host header is checked. (although unchecked does not change the results) 2. Initiated Connection on the external IP. Followed by a closed connection. thanks, Amy Babinchak Harbor Computer Services |(248) 850-8616 Tech Blog http://securesmb.harborcomputerservices.net Client Blog http://smalltechnotes.blogspot.com Website http://www.harborcomputerservices.net ExchangeDefender Message Security: Check Authenticity <http://www.exchangedefender.com/verify.asp?id=m32CfIQa015755&from=amy@h arborcomputerservices.net>
