Hi Ted, 1. unless you like incipient insanity, quit validating network connectivity with a browser. 2. quit using nslookup to validate client name lookups; they don't use the same mechanisms. 3. those two URLs are NOT the same; why do you expect identical results? 4. exactly how is the browser configured; automatic, config URL, manual settings, all of the above, 42? 5. have you taken captures of the successful and failing events to see what is different between them? 6. since the traffic need not pass through ISA on its way from client to server, why are you concerned about ISA configuration? I can nslookup the url successfully from the client though and there are no restrictions on the routers. I have added the internal adapter to the internal network and it sees these subnets based on the windows routes I have added. any ideas? ------------------------------------------------------ List Archives: http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=isalist ISA Server Newsletter: http://www.isaserver.org/pages/newsletter.asp ISA Server FAQ: http://www.isaserver.org/pages/larticle.asp?type=FAQ ------------------------------------------------------ Other Internet Software Marketing Sites: World of Windows Networking: http://www.windowsnetworking.com Leading Network Software Directory: http://www.serverfiles.com No.1 Exchange Server Resource Site: http://www.msexchange.org Windows Security Resource Site: http://www.windowsecurity.com/ Network Security Library: http://www.secinf.net/ Windows 2000/NT Fax Solutions: http://www.ntfaxfaq.com ------------------------------------------------------ You are currently subscribed to this ISAserver.org Discussion List as: jim@xxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe visit http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=isalist Report abuse to listadmin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx All mail to and from this domain is GFI-scanned.
