In what mean does the second session encryption depend on the URL? how
should the second URL be to ensure that it stays encrypted?

For example I have https://server1.dah.edu.sa/loginpage.auth where after
a successful login the traffic is redirected to server2.dah.edu.sa/a.htm
and the URL is server2.dah.edu.sa/a.htm Is there a way for the traffic
to still be encrypted without another certificate on the second URL?

Thanks,
r.

Yes, that's so.
The "stacked listeners" technique has absolutely nothing to do with this
question.

The redirect to the other server will be encrypted.
Whether or not the second session is encrypted depends on the URL.

Is that so? I remember I read an article for Dr. Tom about how to allow
the internal users to access the website by creating two listeners but I
can't find it any more (2 of the websites published are secure).

One more thing please, if I have one site that I want to publish, the
student information system, and this site has a login page which will be
secured (will get a certificate to publish that site), then after the
login page the server redirects the traffic to another physical server
and another URL, will the traffic be still encrypted or do I need to get
another certificate for the second server and URL?

Thanks,
r.

ISA cannot exercise any control over your proxy settings unless you
install the Firewall Client.
ISA publishing rules have nothing to do with "publishing" to the clients
themselves.

This is actually the situation currently, but I want to do it through
ISA publishing rules rather than GP.

Thanks,

Ruba,

you can solve this by modify the proxy setting in each pc to bypass the
proxy for local addresses,

Internet Explorer--->tools--->Internet option--->connection--->lan
setting---> (( check Box))bypass.......

or easily , you can make a group policy on the users ou to make it for
you ...

open the group policy opject .....

Domain Policy--->user configuration--->windows setting--->internet
explorer maintenance--->connection--->proxy setting--->(( check box))
don't use proxy..... or you can but the address you want...

May it help you

        Hi list,

        I have three ISA2004 3 ISPs, one ISA is publishing websites, I
want all the internal users regardless of the firewall they are using to
skip the proxy when accessing the websites published by our ISA, I
don't' have a split DNS(local domain and public are the same), how do I
do that?

        Thanks

        r.
