ISA is licensed per CPU socket.

It doesn't "count user beans" and so doesn't impose that restriction.

You should start here; http://www.microsoft.com/licensing/default.mspx to
sort out the Windows and SQL licensing questions.

I've got a client that wants me to setup connectivity for 20 users via VPN
for access to a private SQL2k5 Server.

 

What are the licensing requirements involved?  For the OS, SQL, and ISA?  Do
I need individual client access licenses?

 

Clients are XP and Vista and will be connecting directly to a ISA2k6 Server.
