There are 150+ zone files.
This means I have to add every single domain to the internal dns and then
point to its zone file?

You've already found the solution to the problem.
Here's a quick way to solve it:
1. set the internal DNS server to load "from file or registry"
2. copy the zone file from the external server to a temp file
3. use notepad (or your favorite search/replace tool) to change the IP
addresses
4. stop the internal DNS service
5. save the new file as the "internal" version of the zone file.

Subject: [isalist] internal webserver

http://www.ISAserver.org

Hello,

I found this question lots of times but didn't find the right answer yet. We
have an internal webserver that's published trough isa server, but we can't
browse to this sites from the internal network. When I add the appropriate
domain to the internal dns, pointing directly to the internal webserver, it
works.
So, you could say I solved the problem, but we have over 100 sites. I'm not
happy to add over 100 domains to the internal dns...
isn't there another solution?
I tried everything, proxy, firewall client, ... it only works with internal
dns.

When I try to connect i see he's connecting the right IP but he doesn't find
the site...

Can someone please help me out of this?

Thanx

Kristof
