Hi Francis,
It does work, because I set it up yesterday. However, I use a variation.
The key is to use Direct Access for the Web Browser so that it can
bypass the Web Proxy service when accessing *.hotmail.com, *.msn.com and
*.passport.com. Check out my article on configuring the Web Proxy client
for Direct Access at www.isaserver.org/shinder
The browser must be configured to use the autoconfiguration scipt. After
changing the browser settings to use the autoconfiguration script, then
you must restart the machine (the client, not the ISA Server firewall).

Well I have equal problem but I read and make this articule but
no Works the protocol httpmail give isa server

we are running internet cable and i had one
server in web cache mode but the problem is whem my lcients try to check
their mails from outlook there is a error comes below i quote it ,
" Your proxy requires you to authenticate.contact your
network administrator for assistance.
Proxy Authentication Required ( The ISA Server requires
