Hi Hanan,

All members of the array must be installed in the same mode, and members
of the same AD domain. I prefer integrated mode, because you get the
best of both worlds, although Integrated mode is enough if you don't
need caching arrays, but I recommend that you install a caching array
with that many servers.

CARP does not duplicate cache entries. Each member of a CARP array is
assigned a piece of the "url space". That's the advantage of using CARP.
Make sure the clients are configured to autodetect or manually
configured to use the autoconfiguration script.

Tom

        Hi tom

        Thank you for your reply
The enterprise array can contain different mode or not? Caching
servers and integrated server? Or I need to create two different arrays?
How I can preserve the cache in each own server does not
propagate to all servers?

        Thank you
        hanan

        Hi Hanan,

If you use Enterprise policy you can set essentially the same
ruleset on all array members. Make sure that the Web Proxy clients are
configured to autodetect or are manually configured to use the
autoconfiguration script.

        Hello

        I need your advice
We have 30 ISA servers some of them are in integrated mode and
the others in caching mode
We need to create enterprise array for all these ISA servers,
our goal if we want to set a rule in one place and to be propagated to
all ISA servers, instead to create the rule in each one. and also we
want the caching doesn't propagated to others caching server we need the
cache to be in its own server
As I know we can't create array with different mode together, or
I'm wrong?
So my question is what we must do if we want to set any rule in
any server to be propagated to all servers, and do not propagate the
cache, which design we should do? Or we should create different array or
what?
        Could you please advice?
        Thank you
        Best regards

        hanan
