Check out Jim's article, "DNS on ISA" at http://www.isaserver.org/pages/articles.asp?art=64 for more info. I would recommend that you install DNS service locally on the W2K box and then perform DCPROMO to promote to a DC. You could then have the primary DNS on the ISA server point to the IP of your DC and the alternate DNS be your ISP's DNS IP. There are many ways you could set this up but I would recommend again the DNS service on the W2K DC and not on the ISA Server. When installing 2 servers, a DC and an ISA server. Where should DNS go for active directory? I planned on installing it on the ISA server before doing the promo on the DC. I have never used ISA outside of Small Business Server, so it's a new adventure for me! Thanks list!!!!
