I would tend to disagree with having your dns look at each other rather than themselves. Are they both Global Catalogs? Can you ping either server by fqdn from either server? Are they both in the same network? I am getting even id 4004 errors on my domain and exchange information store won't mount. Looking around I have found a site saying that this happens if you have two domain controllers and wrong dns settings. My settings at the moment are DC1 First dns pointing to itself Second dns pointing to DC2 DC2 First dns pointing to itself Second dns pointing to DC1 According to that link, I have to change it in a way that they first look at each other then them selves. Is this correct? Imean in that case, then DC1 First dns pointing to DC2 Second dns pointing to itself DC2 First dns pointing to DC1 Second dns pointing to itself Thank you for response ------------------------------------------------------ List Archives: http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=isalist ISA Server Newsletter: http://www.isaserver.org/pages/newsletter.asp ISA Server FAQ: http://www.isaserver.org/pages/larticle.asp?type=FAQ ------------------------------------------------------ Other Internet Software Marketing Sites: World of Windows Networking: http://www.windowsnetworking.com Leading Network Software Directory: http://www.serverfiles.com No.1 Exchange Server Resource Site: http://www.msexchange.org Windows Security Resource Site: http://www.windowsecurity.com/ Network Security Library: http://www.secinf.net/ Windows 2000/NT Fax Solutions: http://www.ntfaxfaq.com ------------------------------------------------------ You are currently subscribed to this ISAserver.org Discussion List as: isalist@xxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe visit http://www.webelists.com/cgi/lyris.pl?enter=isalist Report abuse to listadmin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
