there are a few possible scenarios for your problem - Problems with DNS (if your computer can?t resolve DNS it can not find SRV records in DNS. So it can?t find and access GC) - If your DNS is set up and running and computer can resolve addresses then check if this up and running. Also check if GC server is on the same network as the computer that is trying to connect to it. Try to access or ping GC server from the computer that has the problems connecting to GC. Also try to connect to some other server on the same network as GC to see if you have problems only with accessing GC or all servers on the network - If you can?t access or ping GC server (but network and GC server are up and running) then most probably you have some access list or packet filters restricting you from accessing the server. GC in using port no. 3268 (TCP) and 3269 (TCP) ? if you are using LDAP with SSL. There are also some other ports to consider (MS Q289241) - Last but not least ther could be some problems with permissions (MS Q305837) I hope this helps, Best regards, Miha Pihler -----Original Message----- From: Yoes K [mailto:yoes_isaserver@xxxxxxxxx] Sent: 28. december 2001 6:34 To: [ISAserver.org Discussion List] Subject: [isalist] error in event viewer http://www.ISAserver.org I have error in directory service section at Event Viewer ....
