It came back saying it already was a RRAS dependency. Any thoughts on the nic causing problems? -----Original Message----- From: Jim Harrison [mailto:jim@xxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: 13 December 2001 16:36 To: [ISAserver.org Discussion List] Subject: [isalist] Re: error 278540 http://www.ISAserver.org It places the ISA control service in the DependOnService registry value for the RemoteAccessService (RRAS). This has to exist if ISA and RRAS are to coexist on the same server. This change doesn't always get made; especially if RRAS was added manually instead of via the ISA VPN wizards. Will it affect anything else? The server is patched to latest MS security patches and has nothing else except ISA + RAS installed on it. With a little more investigation I have also found Psched + IPBOOTP event errors - could a faulty NIC/cable cause ISA to terminate unexpectedly? regards Amanda -----Original Message----- From: Jim Harrison [mailto:jim@xxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: 13 December 2001 15:42 To: [ISAserver.org Discussion List] Subject: [isalist] Re: error 278540 http://www.ISAserver.org This is a multi-part message in MIME format. _____________________________________________________________________ This message has been checked for all known viruses by Star Internet delivered through the MessageLabs Virus Scanning Service.
